'Most of the Old School Party Flyers were Designed By Buddy Esquire and Phase 2. Phase 2 was a real big Aerosol Artist who wrote on allot of the NYC Trains who also did a majority of the Party Flyers back then. Buddy Esquire was a regular Artist who did allot of party flyers as well.
These Cats Worked on big Art tables and had all the tools to make these flyers by hand including those Rub on Letters, wax Machines, exacto knives, Graph Paper and many other tools that are extinct today in the modern artwork world.'

Seen : Graff Loser - 18-30 April 08 |

Starting on the 18th of April at the Amuti Gallery (London) is the latest show from graffiti legend Seen. Entitled 'Graff Loser', the exhibition is set to run till the 30th of April with a total of 40 brand new pieces on display.

"There were times I felt like a loser. I allowed myself to give my audience what they wanted to see. Its been 35 years of writing graffiti and I'm tired, very tired, of taking the same letters and flipping them to appear different than they really are. I had the chance to change gradually through the years but I didn't, I fell victim to the system and allowed myself to be labelled when there's so much more I have to offer." -SEEN |

Leonard Street Gallery in association with CAMPBARBOSSA are pleased to present the graffiti duo Herakut who combine multiple techniques of both spray can and traditional painting methods in their highly stylised street works in the upcoming exhibition Permission To Paint opening 15 December 2007. Also exhibiting and collaborating with the duo will be Luc Price, a British born street artist whose tribal fury combined with photo realistic imagery creates an impressive style of his own.

Backjumps "The Live Issue" 3 |

Backjumps "The Live Issue" is on again in Berlin now. Previous years have been more graffiti focused and the last one even had Elk & Teach from London invloved but this year seems much more street art focused and the only UK person involved is Fotolog's own Chimp243. |
